Dria’s birthday party was at Laurie and Scott’s house with Grandma Minty and the kids.

Steve’s wife Erin invited us to the Red Hook brewery in Woodinville for a surprise birthday party for Steve. Dinner was great and there was an open bar! Erin made a terrific slide show for Steve – very nostalgic. After dinner we danced and closed the place down with our cousins.

Andre, Alvin and I joined Carrie, Chris and Angela at Hunan Palace for lunch. I was able to meet Chris and Angela’s son Dylan, who was born on April 14, 2009. Lunch was very good.

Pineapple pie at work today. Brook may eat it before I get a chance to have a slice. I love this department, we always have food available!

Sunny and I ate at Julia’s on Queen Anne. The food was terrific, and the ambiance was perfect. In the future we are going to try to explore more of the unique restaurants Seattle has to offer.

We ate at a really great restaurant, Jacks, for Sunny’s birthday. Gary and Julie were right – Jacks is perfect for brunch. The food and service is wonderful.

We joined Carrie and Andre’s friends for a party at the Tulalip Casino! Always the romantic, Andre rented a beautiful suite at the hotel. We had a surprise party for Carrie in the room before heading to the casino for music and gambling.

Sunny and I spent a nice relaxing evening at Golden Garden Park in Ballard, Seattle. The park is large, we stayed to the west on the beach. We enjoy relaxing in the sand listening to the waves roll against the shore. We’ll be sure to return soon.

Sunny and I joined Mike and Jill for a BBQ at their house where we met this curious raccoon. Dinner was great and the view from the top of their garage was beautiful.

We joined Jessica and Roan for Jessica’s birthday party at Laurie and Scott’s house. Dinner was great, and Jessica received fun gifts, including an I love my boyfriend shirt.
