If you’re anything like me, you make big plans for productive weekends, you lay down for a little nap, and before you know it…it’s Monday again! Sheesh!

This weekend like all others flew by. My old age must be sneaking up on me cause sometimes I can’t remember quite everything we did. However I do remember Saturday was amazing! We went to Magnuson Park and layed in sun by the shore and then went over to the University of Washington and walked on campus. All the cherry trees were in bloom and the campus was all aflutter with students.

We then headed back to our hood for some grub and a trip to the movies, Alice In Wonderland.

Today was a gorgeous day in Seattle. Sunny and I walked to the dog park at Magnuson Park before finding these beautiful cherry trees at the UW campus.

Sunny and I visited the Seattle Art Museum today. There is a really interesting display – the bottle man. This is a twelve foot tall man made of glass bottles. The exhibit is cool. We love the SAM, especially on the first Thursday of the month when it is free!

Weekends are for one thing…kicking off your heels/sneakers and enjoying the part of life that doesn’t have to take things too seriously!

I’m hoping to add a little playtime to my weekend as I catch up on my yesteryears hanging out with my 5 yr old nephew and 2 yr old niecey. And hopefully we get a few hours in the sunshine so we can check off some things I have planned.

Khai rented a room at the Tulalip Casino for Idamae’s Birthday party. The party was a lot of fun. Khai did a nice job setting this up.

Yesterday was our 3 year anniversary of the day we met. We celebrated by going to Serious Pie 🙂 for dinner.

It feels like yesterday when I met my soulmate. What a wonderful three years these have been. Knowing and living with such a considerate and thoughtful man is really a gift or shall I say the answer to my prayers. Happy 3 years since we’ve met anniversary my love!!!

Hello my darling readers, what are you up to this weekend? Tonight Kevin and I are heading to a special event that I can not talk about at this time, but will fill you in once the mission is complete. Tomorrow we’re meeting our friends John, Jessica and their new little addition Eleanor for breakfast at Brown Bag in Kirkland. I can’t wait to see the sweet little bundle of joy. Sunny and I found terrific service and incredible pizza at Serious Pie. We were just in time for Happy Hour where we ate $5 pizza pies. We ate three. Each pizza we ate was better than the first. Some of the best We’d ever had.

I know we are married, but we still celebrate the day we met, now three years ago. Sunny surprised me with having roses delivered to my work. What a beautiful surprise. I’ve never had flowers delivered to me before!

Some of you lucky boys (Kevin) and girls are sleeping today and enjoying a little holiday… for the rest of us, at least we can dream…
