Happy happy, my loves! Friday is here, and I am so ready for the weekend. I hope you all get out and spread the love a little bit.

Best idea ever! Sunny and I made calzones for dinner tonight. Awesome! We used pillsbury’s pizza dough to wrap pepperoni, italian sausage (from Trader Joe’s), and pizza sauce. We had broccoli on the side. The dough browned nicely. Food can be beautiful! The beer is a smooth Nut Brown Ale from Samuel Smith’s that I bought from Mary’s Wine Shop in Marysville.

Dinner at our favorite restaurant, Zaos, at the University Village in Seattle. Zaos has a remarkable number of tasty meals on the menu. My favorite is the Dan Dan Noodles. Zaos is our restaurant of choice when we don’t want to cook at home.

My wife took this awesome photo as we were driving over 8th street in Bellevue after leaving the Bravern. Sunny is quitting her job and taking a job at the National Geographic next week. We are off to the other side of the world! Just kidding, but it is a cool photo of Bing! Before I posted this article I had to Google the spelling of Bravern.

Driving home on Christmas Eve Sunny and I drove around our neighborhood where we found this incredible display of lights. We had to pull over to experience the full effect of this display. Really cool!

Sunny and I joined Mom, Idamae, Khai, and Brian to Bellevue for the Snowflake Lane display. We met at Red Robin for dinner before joining the crowds of people lining the street outside Macys in the Bellevue Square. Dozens of drummers form a drum line alongside dancers and performers. The music was nutcracker-themed and was very good. Snow machines showered us in snow. We had a great time, but it was cold!

We had a great evening tonight. Sunny’s work party was Kaspers in Lower Queen Anne. The venue was small, but intimate. The food was great! There were dozens of small food stands that served unique entrĂ©es in cocktail glasses. I really enjoyed the evening, it is fun to dress up and go out.

Dad and Alex are leaving to Tennessee to visit Mark tomorrow, so we ate an early Christmas dinner. We ate dinner at Brian’s condo. Dinner was outstanding!

We ate a family dinner at my parent’s house for Christmas. I love spending time with our family, we always have a great time together. Keeping with our traditions, we sang silent night to candlelight.
