Sunny and I joined Mike and Jill for a BBQ at their house where we met this curious raccoon. Dinner was great and the view from the top of their garage was beautiful.

Mark flew into Seattle just in time for Aunt Jeanette’s wedding to Mike Himple. The wedding was very nice. We first gathered for photos at the the reception hall, at the Everett Golf and Country Club.

Sunny’s cubicle at work was beautifully decorated for her birthday. We then headed to Greenlake for a picnic. Later that evening we celebrated at Sunny’s parent’s house. We had a really relaxing day. Perfect for my favorite day of the year!

We had a really great time at a dinner for Laurie’s birthday at Ian and Dria’s house.

Sunny and I drove to Snoqualmie Falls today, and I never get tired of the hike down to the base of the falls. I love the photo of the huge pipes leading to the power plant!

Grandma Minty joined us at Idamae’s house for Easter dinner. Idamae and Khai worked hard on the remodel of their house so they enjoyed showing it off. We had a really nice time and I’m glad Grandma Minty could join us.

I created a six foot tall Eiffel Tower as a surprise to Sunny to celebrate our one year Paris-proposal anniversary. Sunny made terrific French Onion soup for the dinner and I had arranged a table by the window for a view of the Eiffel Tower. The final touch of Christmas lights made the tower glow. I can’t believe that it has already been one year since I proposed. The best decision of my life! A wonderful evening!

In honor of the one year anniversary of our vacation to Paris, Sunny and I ate a picnic on Greenlake. We loved eating picnics in Paris so a picnic was a perfect way to celebrate our vacation. Although there is no way I could top the city where I proposed to my wife, we always have a place in our heart for picnics. I’ve included a few picnic photos from Paris below. Bon appetite!

Sunny and I helped Sunny’s sister Jessica paint the kitchen in her new apartment. The color looks good, but we really had to struggle to reach every corner on every wall. Jessica’s new apartment is beautiful and the cats are settling in nicely.

Sunny and I visited the Seattle Art Museum for free! The SAM offers free tickets to the museum on the first Thursday of each month. We love wandering through the new exhibits. This time the newest exhibit was a gallery of paintings from American artists. We are looking forward to the next exhibit! In this photo I am monkeying around with a sculpture of a monkey.
