Sunny’s boss gave us two tickets to a terrific symphony at Benaroya Hall. The hall is beautiful and we had great seats – although there doesn’t seem to be any bad seats in this hall. I wasn’t supposed to take photos, but I snuck in a few. The music was gorgeous and we met a few nice people who we talked to during the intermissions.

I joined David and Trace at David’s house for Patrick’s going away party. Patrick is leaving tomorrow for South Africa. I wish Patrick and Sophia well as they begin their new life together.

Today we visited Aaron and Michele at their new home in Lynnwood. Their house is spacious; we had a fun time. Aaron and Michele are good hosts.

These views of the Seattle skyline were taken from the 10th floor of Grandma Minty’s house on Queen Anne. The view is spectacular from this floor. I can’t wait until the 4th of July, I can already imagining the Space Needle exploding in fireworks.

Aunt Jeanette, Adam, Idamae and I saw the Seahawks play the Redskins! The game was awesome and the weather was cold but clear. The crowd was amazing – go 12th man!

Goodbye 2007 and hello 2008! I have a lot to be thankful for. 2007 brought me Sunny and good friends. 2008 will bring me even closer to Sunny – I am planning something big for this year – it will be a roller coaster ride! For tonight, Brook and Charlie took Sunny and I out for a night on the town. We had a fun time, but Charlie almost got into a fight. Luckily Brook and Sunny stepped in to break it up! You’ll have to ask me for the rest of the story.

An incredible Christmas gift from my family! This is the REI Quarter Dome UL – 2 person ultralight tent. At three pounds 11 ounces, this tent is awesome and will cut the weight of my hiking backpack by at least five pounds (I can finally toss my old Coleman tent)! This tent pitches easily, using two color coordinated poles. The tent should be able to withstand 50 mile an hour winds and has a huge 7 foot square double vestibule. The floor is smaller than I am used to, but two people should fit easily. I can’t wait to hit the trails! But for now I pitched the tent in my living room.

We spent Christmas Day with both sides of our family this year. Breakfast was at Sunny’s parent’s house and dinner was at my parent’s house. We had a wonderful time together.

Christmas Eve with the Daigers gave me the opportunity to get to know Sunny’s family. We had a wonderful time. I love how close Sunny is to her family. These are some photos of our Christmas Eve celebration.

Don’t do crazy things at your work Christmas party that you will regret tomorrow… We had a fun time and the food was awesome. At the Tulalip Casino.
