Brook made a strawberry pie for my birthday potluck at work. So much fun!

Best idea ever! Sunny and I made calzones for dinner tonight. Awesome! We used pillsbury’s pizza dough to wrap pepperoni, italian sausage (from Trader Joe’s), and pizza sauce. We had broccoli on the side. The dough browned nicely. Food can be beautiful! The beer is a smooth Nut Brown Ale from Samuel Smith’s that I bought from Mary’s Wine Shop in Marysville.

Dennys has been running this offer for the last few years after the Superbowl. Free Grand Slam! What a terrific idea! Andre, Alvin and I took an hour off work to enjoy.

Sunny and I ate dessert at the Cheesecake Factory in Seattle. Their cheesecake slices are the largest I’ve ever had! We shared a couple slices – wonderful!

Patty’s Egg Nest just opened in the old Mitzel’s building on 128th street in Everett. I ate a hearty breakfast with the Alvin and the gals from Help Desk. The food has improved over Mitzel’s.

Brian, Dad and I poured a patio at Dad’s house where Dad plans to install his fountain. We didn’t have a large area to cover, but we had to fill six inches to level the area around the existing patio. The pour went well. I’ll add some finished photos after the concrete dries.

Dinner at our favorite restaurant, Zaos, at the University Village in Seattle. Zaos has a remarkable number of tasty meals on the menu. My favorite is the Dan Dan Noodles. Zaos is our restaurant of choice when we don’t want to cook at home.

My wife took this awesome photo as we were driving over 8th street in Bellevue after leaving the Bravern. Sunny is quitting her job and taking a job at the National Geographic next week. We are off to the other side of the world! Just kidding, but it is a cool photo of Bing! Before I posted this article I had to Google the spelling of Bravern.

Sunny and I browsed the Bravern Shopping Center in Bellevue. We loved the massive fireplace at the center of the shopping center. Perfect on a cold day!
