An incredible Christmas gift from my family! This is the REI Quarter Dome UL – 2 person ultralight tent. At three pounds 11 ounces, this tent is awesome and will cut the weight of my hiking backpack by at least five pounds (I can finally toss my old Coleman tent)! This tent pitches easily, using two color coordinated poles. The tent should be able to withstand 50 mile an hour winds and has a huge 7 foot square double vestibule. The floor is smaller than I am used to, but two people should fit easily. I can’t wait to hit the trails! But for now I pitched the tent in my living room.

We spent Christmas Day with both sides of our family this year. Breakfast was at Sunny’s parent’s house and dinner was at my parent’s house. We had a wonderful time together.

Christmas Eve with the Daigers gave me the opportunity to get to know Sunny’s family. We had a wonderful time. I love how close Sunny is to her family. These are some photos of our Christmas Eve celebration.

Don’t do crazy things at your work Christmas party that you will regret tomorrow… We had a fun time and the food was awesome. At the Tulalip Casino.

December 5th is Sinterclaus. This year we celebrated the Dutch holiday at Brian’s condo. I love this holiday, but I love any holiday that brings the family together. It was a nice opportunity for my family to get to know Sunny better.

Sunny and I decorated my condo for Christmas. We had a terrific time using all sorts of color to brighten up my condo for the big day. We already have presents under the tree.
