Union Bank acquired Frontier Bank on Friday. Today we are in Bellevue learning about Union Bank. More on my job later… For now we will dress nicely and hope we impress our new bosses.

We passed this gorgeous house in Queen Anne today.

We drove north to the tulip festival near Mount Vernon. Unfortunately, the tulips did not cooperate. Later in the day we found a few a nice display of tulips at a greenhouse.

Leap is a Pacific Tree frog and is our first pet. About as small as a finger nail, leap lives in a spacious vase.

Today we volunteered for the Troll Stroll. The Troll Stroll is an annual event in Fremont that takes hundreds of walkers to bars throughout Fremont. After we volunteered we had free tickets! I visited five or six bars while Sunny shopped. After leaving the last bar it started to pour down rain – we had to run to our car – Sunny drove home. I never realized how many distinctly different bars there are in Fremont. I enjoyed the experience and will be coming back.

Sunny and I volunteered at Fare Start this morning. Fare Start is a volunteer-run kitchen that prepares food for twelve shelters in the area. We prepared hundreds of meals consisting of burritos and cantaloup.

Another trip around Greenlake. The cherry blossoms are gorgeous this time of year.
