Wednesday, April 16th, 2008 at 8:44 pm

Sunny and I celebrated Khai and Idamae’s 4th year anniversary with our family. The cake was baked by the same bakery that baked their wedding cake. Very tasty.

Vacation to Paris

Monday, April 14th, 2008 at 4:44 pm

We returned safely from our vacation to Paris and we are engaged! Everyday on this trip was special, around every corner was something wonderful. Our hotel was very romantic – we stayed on the second floor of Hotel Prince, in the Rue Cler neighborhood, right next to the Eiffel Tower. We spent our evenings wandering streets bathed in the gold hue reflecting from the Eiffel Tower. It snowed the first day, and it was cold! On the second day Sunny and I took a walk from Les Invalides over Pont Alexander III to the Champs Elysees. That evening I proposed and Sunny said yes, yes, yes! Over the next few days we toured the Louvre, D’Orsay, Rodin, and the Orangerie museums. The Louvre was overwhelming, but fun. We were so tired in the Orsay that we kept our tour limited to Degas’ ballerinas and impressionism.

The food was great. For dinner Sunny often ate French Onion soup and I had the typical French dinner, steak and fries. We ate well. We walked from sight to sight, eating picnic lunches consisting of stinky cheese and herby breads along the way.

I’ve added some photos below, click here for my Web Gallery for the rest.

Mom and Dad’s 40th Anniversary

Saturday, March 29th, 2008 at 8:59 pm

We celebrated my Mom and Dad’s 40th Anniversary at Aunt Jeanette’s church. To prepare for the event, Aaron and I drove around Everett collecting amplifiers and speakers for the presenter and Mike, who sang a few karaoke songs. The anniversary was very well organized, Idamae and Aunt Alice worked hard at dinner, and everyone left happy. We prayed for 40 more years!

Andre’s Birthday at Outback

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008 at 8:55 pm

A large group of friends joined Andre and Carrie at Outback for Andre’s birthday. Carrie had props for everyone! Only two of the photos turned out because my iPhone did not take clear photos in the dark. However, these photos say enough! John, Jessica, and Sunny are dressed up with their props…
